The official website to one of the most eagerly anticipated titles of 2005 has been launched. Electronic Arts has announced that the cyberspace home to Battlefield 2 has officially opened its doors for business. Located at this link, the site features a multitude of items in relation to the sequel to one of the biggest online multiplayer titles of all time.

Until the game officially launches, the website will serve as the official portal to Battlefield 2, and will include such items as exclusive screenshots, videos and various features pertaining to the title. Battlefield 2 is expected to ship at retail outlets in the first quarter of 2005.
