Grand Theft Auto 2 Available For Download

Rockstar Games has decided to give fans of its “Grand Theft Auto” series an early Christmas gift this year by offering them the opportunity to download the complete version of “Grand Theft Auto 2″ through their website.
The file, which can be found here, weighs in at 353MB and requires you to subscribe to their mailing list in order to access the download. The Rockstar Classics site also includes the full versions of the original “Grand Theft Auto” and “Wild Metal”.
Grand Theft Auto 2 was originally released in 1999 and featured the ever-so-popular open-ended gameplay that is now utilized in many of today’s popular titles. According to the website, Grand Theft Auto 2 has been optimized to play on a modern PC.

Wow, they really are amazing. Just can’t seem to think about the next gaming level based on this new engine. Updated and optimized… wonderful!
