Want to Fight in Fallujah?

Want to fight a three week old battle taken right from our current news headlines? For a lot of folks, myself included this idea of having a mod on an event that is so close to home is a little on the odd side. Then again, there are dozens of games coming out that are going over the Vietnam war over and over and over again. Does time matter? Apparently not to the folks at Kuma/War, who are releasing a new mission for its subscription-based service, according to Gamespot.

Kuma Reality Games today announced the release of a new mission for its subscription-based service, the PC war simulator Kuma\War. The latest scenario re-creates the action that occurred just last month in Iraq, the largest military action in the country since Saddam’s fall.

Titled Fallujah: Operation al-Fajr, the mission puts gamers into the boots of Marines and Army soldiers who recently dodged sniper fire and protected civilians while securing the Jolan district in the city of Fallujah.

What I want to know is how long did it take them to get this all made? Seems like it might be a little of a rushed job seeing how the events just took place a couple of weeks ago. It will be interesting to see how the public perception reacts to the game, good or bad.
