Was there any real doubt? Of course LOTR: Battle for Middle-Earth is going gold! Even though I am not really into that sort of game, one cannot deny that it looks cool as heck!

Still, it has to stand up to Halo 2 and the newest version of GTA for PS2. Regadless, I believe that LOTR has a lot more ‘meat’ to it than the other previously mentioned games. And yet they continue to fly off the shelves…

Real-time strategy fans have one more game to add to their holiday wish list, with EA announcing today that The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth has gone gold and will ship Dec. 6.
