OK, I’ll admit it. I really dig a good racing game. There is nothing like having the virtual breeze blowing through your hair as the cars go flying by ya. Yes, racing games really do rock.
Well today we will be looking at a review of Need for Speed Underground 2 done by Game Connect Magazine. As someone that actually reads their work frequently, I found that the review was pretty agreeable with me for the most part. Besides, even if we came out on totally different sides, I would still the game is cool.
There is a select neon brotherhood that’s not restricted by road safety rules and regulations. Through modifications of varying complexity, from custom spoilers all the way to complete body transformations, these high octane people strive for excellence in their vehicles and life styles, seeking the fast, the sleek, the furious.
The sequel to Electronic Arts’ award winning smash hit of yesteryear is every bit as good as its predecessor, improving on graphics, variety and gadgets. The street racing phenomenon is back, and though we tried to be professional and objective about it, all that’s coming from this reviewer’s workstation are engine noises - both the game’s sound effects, and those simulated by the reviewer himself. Seriously, we haven’t had this much fun with a racing game since… well, since Need for Speed Underground 1.
