Now this makes my Halloween! It looks as if Halo’s creator is going to be working on a new game that centers around zombies! Now here is the kicker, you get to play the zombie, rather than playing some tired FPS where you mindlessly blow up every member of the undead that you come across. You get to really play another kind of role here.

Personally, I am liking what I have seen of the screen shots and look forward to hearing more about it as things progress along. Reports indicate that the new game will be release in the summer of 2005. Sounds like a plan to me!

The first title from Halo designer and Bungie co-founder Alex Seropian is finally coming into view! Publisher Aspyr Media and developer Wideload Games have officially announced Rebel without a Pulse, their upcoming third-person action game. The game utlities an enhanced version of Halo’s graphic engine with “all new pixel shaders, new screen effects for an appropriately cinematic look and feel, and a new AI system for the most keenly intelligent mindless zombies in the history of video games.” Stubbs the Zombie in “Rebel without a Pulse” will be a cross-platform release, including Xbox, PC and Mac, and will be published worldwide in summer, 2005.
