Oh goody, another Batman game. While I have nothing against the caped crusader personally, his games tend to blow chunks. Reports indicate that the latest attempt at “sucksville” will be showing up on store shelves here in 2005.

Once again, I think that Batman is a great superhero. But the idea of another cheesy Batman game just does nothing for me at all. What do think? Are you a believer that this time they might just get it right?

Electronic Arts is taking another crack at the Batman franchise after its Catwoman game met with mixed reviews. The next game, called “Batman Begins,” is scheduled to come out in 2005 for Xbox, PS2, GameCube, Game Boy Advance and Sony’s PSP handheld.

EA will work on the game with DC Comics and Warner Bros. It will be based on the forthcoming Warner Bros. film starring Christian Bale as Batman. Presuming the game’s release will coincide with the movie, we can expect to see the game in “summer 2005.”
