Nintendo Goes Online

It’s not what you expected, and it’s only in China. The iQue
pretty much looks like an overweight N64 controller with games being
downloaded from a special kiosk in selected stores. The Gamespot article says that the online upgrade is twenty bucks
itself and the individual games are running for only eight dollars.
Games currently available include Super Mario 64, Starfox 64, Legend
of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Sin and Punishment, and more.

Twenty dollar adaptor and eight bucks for some of the best games from
Nintendo 64. I’m only wondering why the Big N isn’t going worldwide
with this thing. [Andrew Jeon]
