Word that Capcom is putting together another fighting game with a multiple collection of fighters from various Capcom classics has got me sitting on the edge of my chair in anticipation. Capcom Fighting Evolution looks to be another great 2D fighting experience with a plethora of characters to choose from.

Four characters represent each of the five Capcom video game series, so you’ll see fighters from Street Fighter II, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter Alpha, Darkstalkers, and a little-known CPS3 fighter called Red Earth, or Warzard in Japan. Currently the character list for the game includes: Ryu, Guile, Zangief, M. Bison, Alex, Urien, Yun, Chun-Li, Hauzer, Nool, Mukuro, Leo, Guy, Sakura, Felicia, Demitri, Anarkis, and Jedah.

As far as gameplay goes, it will use the standard Capcom six-button configuration. Also, once you start you will pick two fighters, then you will be able to change who you are fighting with at the begining of each round. Other than that, it looks to be your average Capcom 2D fighter.
