Instead of the November 2004 release date, Sega and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the Matrix Online will launch on January 18, 2005. Do not get too disapointed, though, Matrix fans! It seems that the Matrix Online will be released in the United States and Europe on the same day. That not enough for you?

Those purchasing preorders will also get access to the game three days ahead of the general public, and their in-game characters will receive “an advanced-level ‘Hyper Jump’ ability with a special effect.”

So what is a few more months of waiting when you get hyper jumping! For those of you living in a hole this game is being billed as “continuing the saga” of the Matrix trilogy.
