The big mystery of the week is the “mysterious disappearance of Katamari Damacy“. Apparently what had happened is the game did in fact make it out, but then quickly disappeared as fans purchased every last copy off of the shelves. Now there are no copies of the game in sight.
Here is a shocker, mobile gaming is a growth industry. According to TheWirelessblog, mobile gaming revenues are expected to exceed $200 million this year. This eclipses the $91.3 million from 2003.
Oh ya, now they decide that they need to do something because the Sony PSP has battery issues according to GameIndustry.biz. With all seriousness, I totally understand this as a potential problem, but I am not sure limiting playtime is the best response.
