Elixir Studios has recently released a demo version of their new game, Evil Genius. The game places you in the role of an evil mastermind, developing your evil lair, complete with evil traps and evil minions, allowing you to launch a host of evil schemes. All in all, that’s quite a lot of evil.

The gameplay in Evil Genius is very reminiscent Dungeon Keeper, an older “evil lair” management game. However, Evil Genius brings a new twist and a whole lot of style to this genre of strategy games. It has a convincing “old school” atmosphere, with music and art similar to that of a cheesy 60’s spy film. At the same time, it has a host of light hearted and cartoon styled characters, which keep the game world bustling with activity, not to mention hilarious to watch.
