Not an expansion with religious importance, but rather an expansion pack for Ascaron’s PC role playing game Sacred. The announcement comes to us merely a week after the company announced a free update for the game. The expansion pack has been dubbed Sacred Underworld and should be available early 2005. Presumably the game will add new content onto the existing title, and improve areas from the original that needed touching up. Sacred Underworld picks up where the original game left off, and places the focus on underground activity. So underground, in fact, that a portal to Hell is involved. That’s pretty darn underground. Dwarf and Succubus character types will be added, and after adding in new weapons, armour, monsters, and stories, the game world will have expanded approximately 35%.
