In a rather peculiar and tragic turn of events, six people were killed in Deltona, Florida over a missing video game system. According to Reuters:
“27-year-old Troy Victorino and three 18-year-olds, Robert Cannon, Jerone Hunter and Michael Salas, were charged with first-degree murder and armed burglary in the killing of four men and two women at a house in central Florida on Friday.
“The victims were beaten to death with aluminum baseball bats at a home in Deltona, about 25 miles north of Orlando. Their bodies and that of a pet dog were found on Friday morning at the house.
“The only motive investigators have so far found is a dispute over an Xbox game system and some clothes that Victorino believed had been stolen from him, the Volusia County sheriff’s office said.”
