VU Games Versus The Nazis

Vivendi Universal Games has signed a deal with developer Irrational Games, giving VU exclusive North American distribution rights for their upcoming title, Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich. It’s a sequel to the original Freedom Force, but with Nazis. With the exception of Central European countries experiencing economic difficulties in the early 20th century, Nazis make everything better. The game is scheduled for release in 2005, and VU Games say it’s ‘highly anticipated’, although it would say that, wouldn’t it?
Irrational Games has decided to self-publish the title, but I’m not sure if that bodes well or not. There’s not much in the way of info about the game on the Freedomfans Web site, except for an image of some highly enthusiastic interpretive dance.
