Publisher eGenesis is now accepting beta testers for their upcoming MMOG, A Tale in the Desert II. “A Tale in the Desert II” is a massively multiplayer online game set in ancient Egypt. In the game, players work together to build the perfect society.

eGenesis has teamed up with Fileplanet to offer downloads of the game. Users that download from Fileplanet will have access to a special seed, not available in other versions of the game. The special seed will allow users to grow a unique crop.

After teetering back and forth between thinking that that sounds incredibly lame and that it sounds totally awesome I have made my decision: It sounds awesome! I realize that that makes me incredibly uncool. So be it.
