When you are living alone, having practically almost no friends at all, you would do anything to keep yourself busy. Keep yourself distracted from loneliness. Because you know that hurts.
Me? What do I do when I am not busy enough? Lots of things actually. One of it is watching tv series. One of it is Scrubs. A story about a group of doctors. A comedy. One of the comedy that makes me feel that I want to be a doctor. Because they make it so much fun in the series. Feels like fun when you cut someone open, huh?
Other than Scrubs, I also watch Entourage. Now that is a great series. A group of youngsters living in the stardom of Hollywood. God, how I wish to be one of them. Here is the list of some miniseries that I watch (in order that I like):
- Entourage
- Scrubs
- How I Met Your Mother
- Beauty and the Geek
- Weeds
- Grey’s Anatomy
- Reaper
One thing that I noticed is that all of these miniseries involves groups. I wonder, do I like there series because I am lacking friends? Nah, maybe not. Who wanted to see one man doing everything, right? That would be just plain boring. And nobody is an island (like in the movie ‘About a Boy’. Everybody needs somebody. “I can’t do this all on my own, owh I don’t know. I’m no Superman”.
Now I also keep myself busy by learning about website design and development. XHTML, XML, Javascript. It’s kinda hard though, learning it by yourself.
