Another Fee From the Airlines on Busy Days
The travelling public is adjusting to the checked luggage fees. People are aware that there may be charges for pillows, drinks and other amenities. Now there comes a new fee. If you fly on a busy day, you may be charged more:
“… If you plan to fly during the holidays, expect to feel the sting of a new $10 fee, but only if you fly on some of the busiest days of the season.
According to Farecompare .com, Delta, U.S. Airways, Northwest and American Airlines announced the new charge for most flights scheduled for the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 29) and on Jan. 2 and Jan. 3.”

Perhaps the people at the airlines who search for creative ways to charge people can have an additional fee for ‘non busy’, slow days. Of course, it may be an idea also to charge for the luxury of flying in the early morning hours. There must be more clever ways to tack on additional charges for the airline passengers.
Think paid rest rooms on planes…

I’ve noticed that Delta seems to take the lead in this crap. I have 37,000 sky miles to burn up, then I’m done with those jerks.

Last night I booked tix on US Air and found it was $30 cheaper for 2 adults to book their tix separately. What’s up with that?

Next they’ll find a way to tax the fees .I’m missing Peoples Xpress. Super low priced, the attendants are collecting fees/fares on board..(like conductors) You want to be fed you’re welcome to brown bag it. A plane is a bus with wings.(you can quote me on that.) There is no nightmare check in with a bus however like an airline, now.
