Mrs Douglas-David Spends $53,000 a Week on the Basics

You will not be able to relate to the spending in this article. - If this is your ‘burn-rate’ for weekly spending, please send me a check. - In divorce proceedings, Mrs Douglas-David is rejecting a forty three million dollar ($43,000,000.00) settlement as insufficient. The financial needs for just the basics is approximately fifty three thousand dollars ($53,000.00) a week, depending on the current exchange rate:

“…Sweden-born Mrs Douglas-David’s claims her weekly expenses include $250 on a personal trainer, $4,500 on clothes, $1,000 on hair and skin treatments, $1,500 for restaurants and entertainment, $700 on a limousine service and $8,000 on travel, plus maintenance of three properties in Sweden and one in New York.”

The price tag on items must seem like needless clutter. For some people, there is no recession.

Hahaha—keep that economy going, babe!

so she wants more than 43 million $ for a divorce?

thats sad

you dont need really any of that

limosiene
uselsess
makeup useless
keep the food and the properties you can montain yourself

so sell them

you just need food
everything else on that list is prettymuch useless

at least its creating jobs though

Wow that is ridiculous. People like that need to be given a harsh reality check. I’m a college student and, minus bills, I spend about $20-$60 a week the most. That includes any food, gas, and any toiletries. I just don’t get how people can be so selfish. $1000 on hair and skin…why not give that to some needing, struggling family so they can live rent free for a month. Sorry for a rant, it’s just these kind of people really p me off

At $53k / week, she spends just under $3 million a year.

When she deposits / invests that $43 million, if she clears just under 7% return, she will make her ‘needed’ $53k / week on interest alone. And always have her $43 million!

She should spend that $1000 hair/skin budget on a good financial adviser. Or hire me as a Common Sense adviser.

Divorced eh? What was her name and number again?

Don’t know about the rest of the stuff, but that face cream seems to be working pretty well…

Too bad they can’t resurrect them salem witch trials just one more time. Seems like an exception could be made in this case?

I must be very perdestrian, but anyone who needs $53,000 a week to live has her priorities all messed up!

What Do You Think?
