Google Adds an Un-mail Feature

This may be a Google feature that is a blessing for the impulsive. It would prevent so much regret. That email that you sent hastily from Gmail can be retrieved:

“…An “undo” link now appears next to the confirmation that your email has been sent, Google announced on the Gmail blog Thursday afternoon.

The link is active for five seconds after you send the email. During the time, Gmail holds the email instead of sending it right away, just in case you need to take it back.”

Google gives you a precious five second to prevent any embarrassment or regrets. It’s innovative and clever. Watch for other services to follow Google’s lead.
