Texas has taken a significant step in the midst of the peanuts scandal. The state has issued a far reaching product recall because of the concern over salmonella:
“Texas has ordered a recall of all products ever shipped from a now-closed Peanut Corp. of America plant in Plainview amid a nationwide salmonella outbreak.
The order came Thursday evening from the Department of State Health Services. The agency says “dead rodents, rodent excrement and bird feathers” were discovered Wednesday in a crawl space above a production area.”

It seems that the Peanut Corporation of America had completely no regard for the health and well being of the consumers of their products. It is unconscionable to be shipping such contaminated products. Evidence is revealing that the executives of this company knew about the problems with their products. This is not just ignoring industry standards. It is criminal activity.

This salmonella outbreak should have been avoided…Amid all the finance problems and food issue problems there is ONE COMMON THREAD _ GREED! EVERYONE IS GETTING ALL THEY CAN AS QUICKLY AS THEY CAN AND TO HECK with the issue of responsibility and right.
Imagine a crook the likes of Barney Franks “stealing” 50 million dollars from the sinking Freddie Mac and Fannie May NOW MAKING DECISIONS IN THE SENATE????
Merrill Lynch just did the exact same thing while beating the “legal” dead line on such corruption by days.
WHY NOT PUBLISH THE NAMES OF THESE INDIVIDUALS WHO LIKE DOING BUSINESS THIS WAY SO WE CAN ALL BOYCOTT THEIR BUSINESSES AND PUNISH THEM FINANCIALLY IF WE CAN’T CATCH THEM IN THE LEGAL SYSTEM. WE ALL KNOW WHO THE PEANUT KING IS.
