Would a manufacturer knowingly ship tainted product for human consumption? This was done in China with contaminated milk products. Now, in the United States, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has alleged suspicions of similar behaviour:
“The government Tuesday accused the peanut butter manufacturer tied to a nationwide salmonella outbreak of shipping products in 2007 and 2008 after internal tests found bacterial contamination, violating food safety regulations.”

If these allegations prove to be valid, then criminal charges should follow. This salmonella problem with peanut butter caused both illness and death. There should be severe consequences if any manufacturer knowingly exposes the public to compromised food products. It is despicable and corrupt.
