If you have pets, they are among the first considerations during a home crisis. If neither you nor a member of the household are present, a pet door/window sticker becomes invaluable.
This is a sticker that may be place on a door or on the corner of a main window. It lists the kind of pet(s) that is in the house and the number of pets. This is important information for firefighters, for example. Further, some stickers will list the name and telephone number of your veterinarian.
Depending on your location, these stickers may be available from your local municipal government offices, pet supply store, animal shelters or veterinarian services. It is an excellent preventative measure that just takes a few minutes.
