What are the odd of two football receivers being shot? The probability must be minuscule. However, that is exactly what happened:
“New York Giants receiver Taye Biddle is recovering from gunshot wounds to his hand and leg after being shot while visiting family in his hometown.”

Taye Biddle was replacing Plaxico Burress. In a previous, separate incident, Plaxico Burress shot himself accidentally in the thigh.
