The concern about salmonella and peanut butter has widen to include Canada. There have been recalls issued in Canada:
“Canadians should avoid various snack foods containing peanut butter that might be contaminated with salmonella, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has warned.
The tainted food products have been linked to at least six deaths in the U.S.”

If you have neighbours, friends or family members who might not have heard these product advisories, please let them know. For example, there may be some seniors who do not follow these news stories closely. And it is exactly such a demographic that would not handle a salmonella problem well.
