Stan Lee to Introduce a New Gay Superhero

Stan Lee is a legend in the comic industry. His creations like the Incredible Hulk and Spider-Man are recognized around the world. Now Stan Lee is preparing to introduce a superhero who also will make a social statement:
“Lee has reportedly created a character called Thom Creed, a high-school basketball player who is forced to hide his sexuality as well as his superpowers.
It is not known what kind of powers Creed will display.”

Some question whether this will be a commercial success. At this point in his career, commercial profitability does not have to be Stan Lee’s prime focus. And whether the new superhero is widely accepted or not, just the introduction of such a superhero indicates a perceptible shift in the zeitgeist.
