It seems like new innovation. However, it goes back to Jules Verne, an author known for his imagination and his science fiction novels. Do the Detroit automakers have a car on the drawing board that never needs fossil fuels?
This may be the future. Practical innovation becomes a necessity - options dwindle.

Pretty kewl stuff! I wonder if we would still say “I need to get gas”?
I also remember hearing about some car that used pistons to compress air when braking and using the compressed air back the other way.
Neat link.

Once they say that it is perpetual motion, you know that it is a scam. Nice looking scam, but still a scam.
The question I have is this: Why are we being shown video? For a laugh or because we don’t teach science well enough.

Sure, a car can run on air, but how much energy do you need to compress the air in the first place?
I suspect it is not really competitive.
