Compassion in the Midst of Tragedy

The military jet that crashed in San Diego claimed four lives. Mr Yoon Dong-Yun is coping with unspeakable tragedy. His response to this accidents speaks volumes about Mr Yoon:
“…As US authorities confirmed that the body of 15-month-old Grace Yoon had been found in the ruins of the house, taking the toll of the crash to four, her father Yoon Dong-Yun said he forgave the pilot, whose jet crash had killed three generations of his family.
Mr Yoon, whose wife, mother-in-law and two baby daughters were all killed in the accident, described the pilot as a “treasure for the country.”"

My heart goes out to both Mr Yoon Dong-Yun and the young pilot. It is a testimony to Mr. Dong-Yun’s goodness that he can appreciate, at this terrible time of loss, the piot’s efforts to avoid the neighborhood.
