Using Barry Manilow Music to Control Noise

It may be considered unusual. Some may consider it even cruel. A Colorado judge is using Barry Manilow music as punishment:
“… Fort Lupton Municipal Judge Paul Sacco says his novel punishment of forcing noise violators to listen to music they don’t like for one hour has cut down on the number of repeat offenders in this northwestern Colorado prairie town.”

There is no indication that Mr Manilow is paid any royalties for the role his music plays in crime prevention.
