Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang Steps Down
It is a significant shift for Yahoo. The CEO of Yahoo, Jerry Yang, is stepping down:
“…Yang, 40, will step down as CEO and return to his former role as “Chief Yahoo.” The company’s board said it has hired headhunter Heidrick & Struggles to find a replacement.”

With this change at the helm of Yahoo, Microsoft may be interested again in a collaboration or an acquisition. Yahoo stocks are down and there may be a change in the ‘corporate culture’, as Jerry Yang steps down. This may be a prime opportunity to make another offer – and the stakeholders in Yahoo may welcome a Microsoft offer at this point.
