Malcolm Gladwell’s third book is “Outliers”. An except has been presented previously. In a recent interview, Malcolm Gladwell gives some insight into the process of gathering ideas and of writing. He also notes that his book is new material:
“…Nothing in this book has ever appeared in The New Yorker. It’s all brand-new material. They are two separate jobs that demand different things. So many people read me in The New Yorker that it’s cheating to try to ask them to buy a book that they’ve read before.”

Without a doubt, this new Malcolm Gladwell book will be a ‘best seller’. He is a superb communicator and intellectually curious. His unique perspective on events results, in part, from his ability to listen. Mr Gladwell says: “People tell me things“. He listens as well as he writes.
