A Decrease in NFL Playoff Tickets

It goes against the trend but the National Football League (NFL) actually is reducing the costs of playoff tickets. That does not mean that the tickets are readily affordable to the average fan but the price will be lowered:

“The average ticket price for NFL playoff games this season will decrease by approximately 10 percent from last season.

The NFL recognizes that this economic downturn impacts upon almost all sectors of the economy. This is a fan-friendly gesture and other professional sports may be forced to follow. Rising costs of basic necessities will call upon clever marketing to maintain customer traffic - and the NFL always has been vigilant and creative in marketing its product.
