Gmail Backup - In Case of Disasters

Many people use Google Gmail and love the service. Google still considers Gmail as a “beta”. The logo on the login screen says “beta”. If Gmail has your important correspondence or if Gmail is the storage site for some important files, you may want to consider backing-up that Gmail account and GMail Backup is a tool for doing so:

This is ‘donationware’. As noted on the web site, this is not a final release and all the usual disclaimers apply. However, depending on the importance of the data on your Google email account, it may be worth the effort to do a Gmail backup and hope never to have to use it.
