YouTube will be offering complete television shows to its visitors:
“…Partnering with CBS Corp., YouTube announced on its blog Friday that it will post full-length episodes of old favorites like MacGyver and the original Beverly Hills 90210 along with newer hits like Dexter and Californication in a bid to bring more advertisers to its site. YouTube is also in talks to add shows from other networks and feature-length films.”

YouTube was a 1.65 billion dollar expenditure for Google in October of 2006. Google has experimented with ways to make YouTube into a consistent, growing profit center. This new collaboration with CBS is an enticement to the traditional television advertisers to help with Google profits. These new features will not be advertising-free.

El Pelon: That’s not what I mean. Some videos are restricted. They can only be seen by US residents only. Even on YouTube.
