A Double Win for Candace Parker

Rookies are not suppose to do this. Traditionally, there is a learning curve, as first year players adjust to professional basketball. Candace Parker, however, is a unique talent:
“Candace Parker received the WNBA’s most valuable player award Friday, becoming the first player to win the award along with the rookie of the year honors. The Los Angeles star was unanimously selected rookie of the year.”

It seems that Ms Parker has adjusted well and made her presence felt. Kudos to Candace Parker. It was a remarkable introduction to professional basketball.
