Senator McCain’s Poor Press Coverage

There can be little doubt about the media coverage in favour of Senator Obama. It has come to the point where the press coverage is mocking. While the national and international press focus on Senator Obama’s high profile appearances in Berlin and his meetings with foreign leaders, the contrasting headlines are about Senator McCain’s visit to a German restaurant:

“COLUMBUS, Ohio - Republican presidential candidate John McCain had his own German experience Thursday — at a restaurant in Ohio. He asserted that he was happy to devote his time this week to touring the nation’s heartland.”

While Senator McCain’s media specialists should have anticipated such coverage, the some in the media seem to have abandoned the role of objective observers. Unfortunately, the bias is an affront to the public, no matter what one’s political persuasion is.

I agree. The really sad thing is that the ‘Obama stricken’ media can’t even bring itself to admit their bias. For all the greif Fox News takes, they don;t hide from their sentiments, but do go out of their way to bring on people with strong opposing viewpoints.

The rest of the media, though, just continues to drink the Obama kool-aid, despite the emptiness of his message.

Come on people….McCain is stogy, dull and boring, looks ,talks and walks like an ole man…

Let’s face it…Obama is young ,vibrant, charismatic and inspirational….He sells newspapers, magazines and is a huge draw for the media..This from a life long Republican,

Hollywood & the Media actually picked both candidates by ramming them down our throats. They have been brainwashing the public for last 6 years to believe the Republicans are bad. All the while they know that “Divided we Lose” so can’t say they didn’t know they were helping the Terriorist kill more of our Troops by embolding the enemy with the thought that they could make us quit if they killed more of our Troops. The Media & the Democrats should be held accountable and tried for Treason! This Country did not become great by practicing Socialism, but that is what we will get with Obama. Then the whole World will suffer.

The sad thing is you are dealing with a liberal media. Only one side of the story on a constant basis and people don’t know any better to check out what they are hearing. It really amazes me with all the info out there today via internet etc that people are so uninformed and gullible to what they are told.

I’m waiting to see the week-long whirl-wind world tour by McCain accompanied by the same high-powered news media heavy-weights and the 24/7 coverage, as should occur if the media were the unbiased objective observer they are supposed to be. Instead, the news media are giving unaccounted-for billions of dollars of free campaign contributions to Obama in the form of publicity, airtime, front-page real-estate and spin. The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing will hardly get coverage as thorough. None of what Obama is doing can be considered in any way news-worthy, so doesn’t warrant more than a mere 30-second mention in news telecasts, nor more than three paragraphs in a middle section of a news paper.

I think just a short time ago everyone was complaining that McCain was getting all the media coverage.
McCain goaded Obama into going to Iraq and when the Senator does McCain pouts that he is getting too much attention. When McCain does something enws worthy it will be covered.
McCain lately would have done better to stay out of the news with all the gaffs he is making.
Poor old man is having far too many brain farts that show him up to be a tired old man with nothing new in his head but to continue down the Bush path.

Me thinks that Chris and the crew should steer clear of politics and just keep it up as one of the most informative sites on the net. I just laugh at comments like ‘liberal media’ & ‘Obama stricken’. People… assuming we are all internet savvy… just look at the economy, the war based on lies, the environment, other countries perceptions of the USA, google the 10 signs of fascism. How any real American can consider more of the same is beyond me. Come on now… we will be voting, again, for the lesser of two evils and McCain is the best the Republicans got? Sad.

I agree with Bruce. Obama is ah, um he is ah, um well his ah, umm a good speaker and ah he ahh tells reporters to NEVER make fun of his ears, umm ahh his wife, his pastor, and ah his teeth, or ah anything else. He mandates that we learn another language like Spanish, ‘merci bo coupe’. He PLANTS pre-written prayers where his handlers tell him to in the Wall so they will be found and put in the newspapers. He gives stirring speeches there about “Isreal is a good friend of Isreal” (and they make fun of George for ‘nuklear’!). Obamamania is a big draw for the media because they want him to win — just grab ten headlines about each one and switch the names to see the bigotry. If someone would say about Obama what they say about McCain, they would lose their job in “news”. Go to http://www.ibdeditorials.com/IBDArticles.aspx?id=301702713742569 and follow the money.
The media herded voters into these two bad choices. I’ll vote Democrat (McCain) because I can’t stand the thought of a nationalized with the government in charge under a socialist like Obama.
And maybe lockergnome should stay with tech stuff and not get me riled up…

Well it’s not just bias, it’s financial control and coercive influence. The elite money machine, not really secret any more but still attempting to operate discreetly, has chosen Obama as the candidate they can work through most successfully. The pressure on the news media is immense, running right across the spectrum, and the poor little execs in the Board Rooms don’t even try to resist it. The result is universal media approval of Obama and universal mockery of McCain, and it’s so patently obvious that it’s actually a little silly. However the super-rich hegemonists who control this scenario have very little respect for the intelligence of the public, and so they are not much worried if their efforts come across as way too obvious.
