James Posey Goes to the New Orleans Hornets

With one signing, the New Orleans Hornets have improved. The Hornets added James Posey, with a four year contract. The reported sum of the four years is a healthy twenty five million dollars.
James Posey will present a three point shot threat which should spread out the defense for Chris Paul. Even if Coach Bryon Scott uses James Posey off the bench, he will provide the Hornets with defense and a legitimate offensive threat. Along with players such as David West, Tyson Chandler, Peja Stojakovic, the New Orleans Hornets have to be considered one of the favorite teams in the western division.
The Boston Celtics considered James Posey as one of the major components to their recent championship run. The Celtics will miss his leadership; and post season play for the Celtics next year just became a little more difficult.
