Soul Searching Songs

So the discussion was ‘which was the best soul searching song?’. What song spoke best to existential angst - wandering? The song that was most mentioned was U2’s:
“…But I still haven’t found
What I’m looking for”
Also mentioned frequently was Bob Seger’s “No Man’s Land”:
“Headin’ in and headin’ out
Standing on the shore
Pause a moment to reflect
Which trip costs you more…”
And one person even suggested Glen Campbell’s “Wichita Lineman”:
“I am a lineman for the county and I drive the main road
Searchin’ in the sun for another overload…”
I don’t understand that but it is nevertheless interesting. Perhaps it would have been more meaningful if one was a listener during its release. Anyway, I was wondering… ‘what is soul searching song is at the top of your list?’.

I think one of the more meaningful songs is sung by KidRock, which I understand may be surprising. But his song “Roll On” is very much a testament of all the hardships and mistakes that we all make in life, and as a 40 year old, I can relate to how this song looks at our past and where we are now. Here is the link if interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T211rf5aZnQ
