Buster Martin: 101 Year Old Marathon Runner

Perhaps record keeping was not as diligent in the early 1900s. Records will show that, no matter what his age, Buster Martin did complete the London Marathon:

“A 101-year-old man who completed the London Marathon will not be included in Guinness World Records because there is not enough evidence to verify his age, it was confirmed yesterday.”

The important question is whether Nike has contacted Mr Martin. It is an amazing performance. Nike knows that the ‘baby boomers’ would take note.
