It is nice to carry a few songs with you when you are on the move. Perhaps you would like to have a half million of your favorite tunes with you:
“Mobile phones, iPods and other consumer devices may soon be able to hold a hundred times more information than they do at present thanks to a breakthrough in storage technology.”

The first thing that comes to mind is the huge huge huge soda drinks that one can buy. Depending on the country, one can buy a quart and a half (or a liter and a half) of your favorite beverage, plus ice. Does anyone need that much fluid available? - And the same thought goes to portable storage. Does one need so much data available? The sobering thought is that with this increased storage capacity sure to find its way into business and government applications, the amount of data breached in a single incident will be absolutely massive.
