How Yahoo must want to avoid a partnership with Microsoft. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Yahoo is turning to Google for search advertising:
“Yahoo Inc. is close to announcing that it plans to carry search advertising from Google Inc. as part of a test that could lead to a broader partnership, according to people familiar with the matter.”

This is Yahoo delivering a virtual ’slap in the face’ to Microsoft. And with this, one thing is certain. It will become a hostile takeover very quickly.
