Buying Some Evidence for Yourself

On my last time through airport security, I noticed a bin where they tossed all the restricted items. This included things like batteries, scissors and other restricted things. Have you ever wondered where all that ’stuff’ goes?

Perhaps it lands on an auction site:

“…At http://www.propertyroom.com, unclaimed items from more than 1,000 police departments are auctioned with most bids starting at $1 - jewelry, artwork, vehicles and electronics are just a few of its categories.

 Web site auctions evidence

Apparently, the site is entertaining, even if you are not buying anything. It seems that the authorities do seize some strange items. Do you need any lumber? How about a motorcycle?
