Safari 3.1 for Mac and Windows
The Safari 3.1 browser is now available. It can be used on a Mac or a Windows system. Apple touts the Safari speed:
“The fastest web browser on any platform, Safari loads pages up to 1.9 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.7 times faster than Firefox 2.”

For Windows users, Safari needs Windows XP or Vista.
