USBDeview: A USB Utility

There are those times when a problem leads to a great find. - I was having a USB mass storage problem on my desktop which eventually led me to find USBDeview. It has been extremely helpful in providing detailed information:

“USBDeview is a small utility that lists all USB devices that currently connected to your computer, as well as all USB devices that you previously used.

For each USB device, extended information is displayed: Device name/description, device type, serial number (for mass storage devices), the date/time that device was added, VendorID, ProductID, and more…”

link: USBDeview
system requirements: Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista - [Windows 98/ME is not supported]

For someone who uses USB devices, this is time saving utility. The price is right too - it’s freeware.
