As people who have followed this space know, I am one of those typists who avoids mouse movements. Whatever can help to keep my hands on the keyboard adds to my speed. And over the days and months, this saves me time.
Jody Gilbert, at TechRepublic, has a nice article on keyboard shortcuts. She says that “you can shave significant time off your various viewing and navigational tasks in Firefox if you know a handful of keyboard shortcuts“.
link: 10+ keyboard shortcuts to speed Firefox tasks
There are more shortcuts listed in a PDF download at that link. Kudos to Jody Gilbert - and thanks!

I’m with you. I love shortcuts. I don’t know if you’ve used it before but I urge you to check out a program called launchy found at http://launchy.net/ I use it at both work and home and couldn’t live with out it. you can have it index any folder you want to be able to launch programs/files/websites… anything really it comes with some plugins and has others to download as well for example you could type google hit tab and what you want to search for and it will automatically open your browser and execute the search. it comes with similar plugins for dictionary.com and weather.com also. you open the program by hitting alt very convienent in my opinion. It’s also sknnable if you like creating your own look.
