Adobe did not disclose a security flaw. There is a current update to address this issue:
“…Users are urged to upgrade to version 8.1.2, available for download on Adobe’s Web site.”

It is troublesome that known security issues are not made public knowledge. It fuel future rumors and does not afford the program user the option of taking some early preventative measures. It is just a poor precedent.
