This is an obscenity. Military personnel deaths were due to poor hospital care:

“(ST. LOUIS) — Substandard care at a southern Illinois Veterans Affairs hospital may have contributed to 19 deaths over the past two years, a VA official said Monday as he apologized to affected families and pledged reform.”

The system for veterans care should be firmly and securely established by now. America has had experience with war. It need not be said that the people who stand to serve deserves the best from a grateful nation. This is complete and utter abomination.
