Trevor Ariza has a right foot fracture. For fans of the L.A. Lakers, this must seem like a replay of the last season. Last year, a good start to the regular season was derailed by injuries. Now, the Lakers also have injuries to Andrew Bynum, Chris Mihm, and Vladimir Radmanovic. Those are the Lakers who are not playing. The recovering Lakers, who are playing, include Luke Walton, Sasha Vujacic and Kwame Brown.
The busiest person on the Lakers staff may be Gary Vitti, the athletic trainer.
