Kwame Brown: At the Top of the Sports Illustrated Poll

Kwame Brown of the L.A. Lakers is at the top of a Sports Illustrated poll. It is, however, a dubious distinction. Kwame Brown leads in the survey of “which player gets the least out of the most talent”.

Kwame Brown has problems at the foul line. His free throw efficiency could be improved. However, other contemporary superstars, who play Kwame Brown’s position, also struggle with free throws. An example is Tim Duncan. Another example is Shaquille O’Neal, a famous ‘brick’ thrower from the foul line. What defies explanation with Kwame Brown is ‘why can’t he catch and hang onto a basketball?’. It’s baffling. It’s inexplicable. It perplexed Michael Jordan. It’s an NBA mystery.
