CNN Continuously Annoying

During political telecasts, CNN has its on-air people continuously throwing in the phrase “the best political team on television“. That phrase, or some form of it, is parroted repeatedly. It is so annoying.
Why is this phrase necessary and repeated incessantly?
The constant repetition encourages this viewer to look for political coverage on other channels. And, on other channels, there does not seem to be the prerequisite need to pat oneself on the back. Instead, the coverage is focused on the events and news.

No worse than ‘Fair and Balanced’ on Fox News, or hearing any local newscast spout off about ‘ now in HD ‘

I dislike many of these stations(cnn, mscnn). However, I do like Countdown. That’s a good show.

I soooo agree with Catherine. I feel like turning off the TV every time… Unfortunately there are no better alternatives as some of the other comments mention. I watch CNN because their newscast is interesting, not because they have brainwashed me into believing they are the “best political team on television”.
